Think Global, Act Local -- at Northey St City Farm

A little bit of 'Woodford' has come to Brisbane. A project to encourage locally produced services and goods has been launched at Northey St City Farm in a festival environment.

The 'Village Life Project' provides Brisbane residents an opportunity to buy a range of creative products and services from local art and craft, shiatsu massage, recycled clothing all in a festival environment. Each Sunday for the next 12 weeks the Village Life Project will be held jointly with the Northey St Markets. People can continue to buy locally produced fruit and vegetables while children can dabble in face painting and parents can top their morning off with a cup of Chai Tea listening to local bands.
